Teak is a Hardwood that grows much slower than softwood giving a natural strength and resistance to decay. Its strength allows smaller sections of timber to be used during manufacture, giving a more elegant appearance to the finished form. Timber Store only buys Teak Hardwood furniture through sustainable sources.

We also stock patio and wooden lawn furniture manufactured from larger sections of Scandinavian Redwood Timber providing a robust and more solid looking product which is pressure treated to give long lasting protection. It can be kept outside all year round with minimum maintenance.
